The Pentagon Victims Scholarship Program is sponsored byArmy Emergency Relief (AER) for eligible dependents of Pentagon victims. The application process begins with the program reaching out to eligible individuals. Once a brief application is submitted, the fund is processed.

Spouses and children of Soldiers in the following categories are eligible for our scholarship programs:

  • Active duty
  • Deceased active duty
  • Retired
  • Deceased retired
  • Medically retired
  • Grey Area Retirees
  • Active Guard Reserve and U.S. Army Reserve on Title 10 Orders for the full academic year of application

Applicants must be listed as Soldier Sponsor dependents in DEERS.

For the Maj. Gen. James Ursano Children’s Scholarship Program, applicants must be under 24 years old.

Scholarship recipients must be pursuing their first undergraduate degree at a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. Exceptions may apply for spouses, and trade schools are also eligible.

There are no strict deadlines, and recipients receive guidance throughout the entire process.
